The SmCo magnet is a high performance, low temperature coefficient permanent magnet which is made of samarium and cobalt and other rare earth elements. Its biggest advantage is its high working temperature(350°C), so it requires no special surface treatment. This makes SmCo magnet an excellent choice for designers when high temperature environments may be present.
