Electro permanent magnetic chuck, LMEPM50
The electro permanent magnetic chuck is a new type of magnetic chuck making use of electric pulse for “switching On and switching Off” magnetic force. The chuck can keep the attraction indefinitely after holding the workpieces with magnetic force. It is quite safe and reliable for the chuck to attract the workpieces.
The electric power is only used for a few seconds in the activation and deactivation phases, the workpiece is held exclusively by the magnetic force of the high performance of magnet during the processing, the system is insensitive to possible failure of power supply so that it is very safe and the magnetic force of the magnet can keep constant.
The electric permanent magnetic chuck can be widely used as holding component of various kinds of plain surface grinder and electromaching machine tools. The high power electric permanent-magnetic chuck can also be used for holding workpiece for milling machine , drill press, planning machine and boring lathe. Otherwise, it is also adopted in the machining center and FMS system as attached fixture device.
